Children are welcome, and they are often the best part of the day. A stocking handed over by a child means something different than one handed over by an adult.
We ask that a parent or guardian stays for the whole visit and takes part alongside their child rather than dropping off. Every volunteer is a guest in someone's home.
Teenagers can come with a school or church group as long as a parent comes too. Facilities require a signed waiver before anyone comes through the door, and if you need community service hours signed off we will have that form ready for you. You do not need to sort any of this out now. Sign up, come to the call, and we will walk through it together with plenty of time.
